So.... this year I am sticking to this. My birthday is a month away and I would like to be thinner. But also by summer time I WILL have a beautiful size 6/8 body. No pooch and athleticly thin not model anorexic thin.
I am challenging myself to 30 days without cheating. That's the goal but I am allowed 3 forfeits.
Here is my body now. And I am a size 12 and weigh in at about 10st 4lb. But I'm not bothered about the scales. More bothered about the inches.
So without further ado. Commence day 1. ...

As we all know dieting is a pain! So my aim is to test out diet routines and see if they work. I've tried crash dieting in the past but its SOOO bad for you and plus the weight comes straight back when you start eating normally. So here goes...........

I've lost a pound!!!!
Ok so I exercised a bit. I went for an hour run/brisk walk yesterday and a trek through the woods today.
Diet wise i'm struggling without carbs a bit. I mean i'm craving bread like there's no tomorrow! I could kill for a tasty sandwich! who knew that what I would crave most is bread. Ha ha. Not chocolate like normal people.
My hunger isn't so bad anymore either. I haven't cheated once. I even cut back milk to Alpro soya milk light.
I'm impressed with this diet. It's very doo-able. I don't feel like i'm on a diet if that makes sense.
Today is cheat meal which means I'm not going to go out and have a McDonalds or anything I'm just going to have a tiny portion of rice with my chicken and veg. Healthy cheat!!!
Ill update again in a few days with weigh in and measurements.

Ok so im supper hungry!!!...
Day 2 going well. It's a lot of food but not anything amazingly filling. My stomach will eventually shrink but at the moment it is used to burgers and lots of carbs.
It's nice to be able to actually eat in regular times. Its so much veg though. Got to make sure I get at least 4 of my 5 day at dinner and then 2 portions of fruit after dinner.
I'm not going to exercise just yet. I want to know if diet works by its self.

Day 1 of the rest of my life.....
Today I am starting on a version of Ashy Bines clean eating bikini body challenge. (https://www.facebook.com/thebikinibodychallenge) The results look great from what I have researched. People have really had complete body transformation in as little as 8 weeks! So i'm hoping the weight drops off me.
On her website she does charge you a fee. If you can afford the subscription fee then great but in this economical climate i'm skint so i'm doing it without support.
The main principles are pretty easy.. Cut out the crap and exercise with a capital E. I'm also only allowing myself breakfast to have carbs to give it a kick up the backside.
Here's the brief outline of what the diet is;
Eating clean basically means that foods are selected from those in their natural state; unprocessed and whole. For example tomatoes are a clean food whereas ketchup is not. Homemade tomato sauce may be considered a clean food if it is prepared from scratch with all ‘clean’ ingredients.

This is not necessarily a low calorie approach to dieting with a greater emphasis being placed on the quality of the foods selected, although I am using a low calorie diet on this as I want to shape up quick.
This diet stresses the importance of eating a healthy breakfast every day and never skipping meals. On this diet you are recommended to snack between meals but obviously not on a chocolate bar or anything, something like carrot sticks will suffice.
Cheat meals are allowed only once a week. This means that this is a very strict plan that will require a great deal of discipline in addition to implementing a dramatic overhaul of diet and lifestyle for most people.
